Jack West with Trubblegum and The Violet Exploit
Jack West
Jack West, based out of rochester NY is a 18 year old Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist/Producer. Jack first picked up the guitar at the tender age of 8 years old which his parents bought him at a garage sale. He quickly learned key chords and riffs to his favorite songs. Which lead to Jack frequently playing open mic nights throughout the city of Rochester . Years progressed and Jack was slowly making a name for himself in the Rochester community. In September 2017 lightning struck and jack got a once in a lifetime opportunity. Jack had run into Eddie Vedder the lead singer of Pearl Jam in a hotel lobby in Nashville, and had asked “can I sing a song with you tonight”? Six hours later Jack walked off the stage after singing too 30,000 people alongside Eddie Vedder. This caught the attention of many , particular Pearl Jam fans, with the original clip even being played on the Today Show. In 2018 Jack met Seattle producer Barrett Jones , who produced grunge icons like The Foo Fighters and Nirvana. Jack headed west for Seattle and spent 3 weeks at Barrett’s studio recording his debut album “For The Record”. Released in 2019, West played various shows around the country in support of his new album. Including opening for Imagine Dragons and Neil Young at the BottleRock Fest in Napa CA, Woodstock 50th anniversary, Rock2vote festival in Montana, alongside famous clubs around the country.( Pianos in NYC, east street records in Seattle, etc ). After a successful first year of touring at only 14, Jack was frustrated when the pandemic hit , spending his time writing, recording and growing his social media following. It was all strangely worth it in the end , because Jack hit the ground running in 2021/2022. Dropping his second album “NUMB” , West managed to get John Greenham who mastered Billie Eilishs “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO” to master his new record. Leading up/and after the release Jack toured extensively with various shows throughout the United States and Canada . ( The Viper Room in Los Angeles, The Bowery electric in Manhattan, The hideout in Chicago , Toronto , Cleveland , Indianapolis, Boston, Washington DC, Seattle, Colorado Springs, Whicita, Philadelphia etc). Between the shows and recording , Jack has recently been touching upon other things such as acting and modeling. Most recently acting in a film directed by Diana Ciglioni in Los Angeles.

The Violet Exploit is a 5-person Indie Alternative-Rock band that started in January of 2022. The band is local to central North Carolina with roots in the Pines, and they bring together eclectic tastes and timeless yet timely sensibilities in their original music. Their sound pays homage to classic rock with contemporary nuances leaving the audience with a sense of nostalgia and anew.
Their debut single, “Laugh” exemplifies the band's ability to combine melodic vocal lines and driving guitars. The Violet Exploit’s second single, “Lay Down” released July of 2022, and their third single and debut video, “Haunted” is projected to release April 28th.
