Charlotte native Harvey Cummings II is an award winning saxophonist, pianist, songwriter, and producer. His unique sound blends jazz, hip-hop, and soul to create an incredible listening experience. His straight ahead band, The Harvey Cummings Project, is a driving force in today's modern jazz movement, performing for television, podcast series, festivals and with clients such as President Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, CLTure, Blumenthal Performing Arts, Lowes, The Carolina Panthers, Rapper DaBaby, Justice Initiatives, Creative Mornings, 20th Century Fox’s Our Kind of People and much more!

Since graduating from North Carolina Central University with a BA and a BM in Music and Jazz, Harvey’s music has been featured on Cartoon Network’s "The Boondocks" and on assets for brands that include CLTure, Allen Edmonds and the Harvey B Gantt Center for African-American Arts and Culture. Harvey has worked with Mez (Heirs Ent.), TLC, Angie Stone, Anthony Hamilton, Carlitta Durand, Cyanca, Elevator Jay, Fantasia, Lute, Erick Lottary and many more. Harvey has even been recognized as "a cornerstone of Charlotte’s music scene" by The Charlotte Post.
