Study Skills: Coding Club (in-person)
By Study Skills

This is a study group for students who are working on coding problems at a beginner to intermediate level (e.g., year 1 engineers, computer scientists, year 2 physicists and year 3 bioscience student). You’re welcome to come whether you’re looking for coding help or to use it as a study space to work on your coding.

This session is for you if:

  • You’re new to programming, or aren’t super confident with working on coding-based problems
  • You have upcoming deadlines for your coding problems and you’d like to come for advice or just work through the problems with the opportunity of support.
  • You’re looking for guidance on how to start coding from scratch.
  • We can offer help in the following languages: Python, Matlab, R and general support in other programming languages.

This is safe space to make mistakes, ask silly questions and develop both your problem-solving skills and your confidence. Bring along any programming problems that you’re working on at the moment.

Coding Club takes places every Monday, 16:00 - 18:00 in the Seminar Room (Lower Ground Floor), Beacon House, Queens Road Bristol, BS8 1QU
