The Artist Support Grant (ASG) was created by the North Carolina Arts Council to provide direct support to individual artists during and following the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible artists must reside in Region 12, which include the counties of Anson, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Stanly or Union. GRANT APPLICATION DEADLINE:
5:00 PM on Friday, October 13, 2023
ACMC is offering two grant workshops to help interested artists in strengthening their applications. Attendance is not required but strongly encouraged, especially for first time applicants. All grant workshops are open to any artist in North Carolina, no matter your county of residence.
The ASG workshops presented by ACMC will take place on the following dates:
1. VIRTUAL via ZOOM - August 29, 2023 - 5:30 PM
2. IN PERSON - September 12, 2023 - 5:30 PM at Arts Council Galleries at Campbell House (482 E. Connecticut Ave., Southern Pines, NC)
You must reserve your space for the grant workshops by contacting Chris Dunn (910-692-2787 or acmc@mooreart.org). Please provide the following: Your name, county of residence, email address, phone number, and your art medium. The Zoom link will be emailed to you after you reserve your space.
Additional workshops for Region 12 artists may be scheduled, so check back here often to stay up to date.
In addition to the workshops, you may also contact the ASG representative in your county to help you develop your application and support material.
