7th Annual Free Ancestor Fair/Family History/Genealogy Swap Meet
Sponsored by the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History and Surry County Genealogical Association, this swap meet is open to anyone interested in genealogy. Those connected with a History or Genealogy Group or local authors are invited to set up an information table and sell your group's books, maps and other genealogical information. Everyone can bring their genealogy to display and share so others can make connections and find new family information. A copy machine will be available; a small fee will be charged for copies. Laptops are welcome. Browsers are welcome!
Members of SCGA will be on hand with access to Ancestry and FamilySearch. Civil War Historian, Tom Perry, will be available to assist people in finding their Civil War Ancestors with access to Fold3 and military records plus members of Surry County Digital Heritage: Saving Our Surry County Communities will be available to discuss their current genealogy and family history project.
Covid restrictions apply. Face coverings are required inside the Museum.
