Dear Pastor/Leader:
Greetings in the name of Christ! I trust God is blessing your work for him.
I am excited to announce our first Fan the Flame Leaders Conference sponsored by The Brooklyn Tabernacle, which will be held on Friday, April 21 – Sunday, April 23, at our campus in Downtown Brooklyn. We are inviting pastors/leaders and their spouses, along with others in leadership in the local church, to this gathering. Our focus will be that God would fan the flame of our gifting (2 Timothy 1:6) and give new life to our churches.
The conference begins on Friday, April 21st, at 10:30am. (Check-in will take place from 8am to 10:30am that morning.) After three sessions on Friday, the evening will be free. There will be three more sessions on Saturday, with that evening free as well.
The unusual feature of this conference is that we want the registrants to stay over and attend either or both of our two Sunday services, which take place at 9am and 12pm ET. The Brooklyn Tabernacle congregation will be praying over all those who can be in these services. I’m hoping that leaders can find a way to be off from their normal duties this one Sunday so they can sit and receive even more from the Lord.
Below you will find the link to a list of recommended hotels as well as the New York School of Urban Ministry, which has a limited number of available rooms. There are other possibilities here in New York City through Airbnb. The conference registration fee is only $100, and this includes continental breakfast on both Friday and Saturday mornings. Time will be allowed each day for you to have lunch in one of the many restaurants in the vicinity of the church.
We will have excellent speakers coming in to help instruct and encourage you, but our main focus is the Holy Spirit renewing our hearts and minds to better serve Christ in the difficult days we face.
