Singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Brian McKnight has gained international and domestic recognition, earning himself a spot in contemporary music history. He has released 19 albums to date over the past 25 years, selling more than 30 million albums worldwide. With 17 Grammy Award nominations and numerous chart-topping songs, McKnight has established himself as a musical legacy. In 1992, he released his self-titled and first album, featuring the top-20 hit “One Last Cry.” In 1998, “Anytime” was nominated for Best Male Video at the MTV Video Music Awards. His most notable album, Back at One (1999), sold over 3 million copies.
In an industry known for a constant revolving door of artists, McKnight has easily established himself with an enviable record of chart consistency. He released the album Genesis in 2017 through Sono Recording Group. The first single released off the album, “Forever,” quickly reached the top 25 on Billboard’s Adult R&B chart and peaked high with radio charts all over the country. His most recent release, Bedtime Story, includes singles “42 (Grown Up Tipsy),” “When I’m Gone” and more. McKnight has collaborated with performers across every genre, including Quincy Jones, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Diddy, Christina Aguilera, Rascal Flatts, Nelly, Vanessa Williams, Willie Nelson and Kenny G; and he has been the recipient of Soul Train Awards, American Music Awards and Billboard Songwriter of The Year.
