Willie Pipkin’s sound is based on blues, but he gets to play bluegrass and swing music too. He’s dabbled a little bit in jazz, but he won’t say he’s a jazz guitar player. He really likes playing rock n’ roll and all kinds of roots music. He has multiple residencies all over town as a side man, and a couple under his own name. He can be counted on to have the cream of the crop of other musicians playing with him.
