Seed Library- at the Cottonwood City Library, the 4th Saturday from 11 am - 1 pm.  This is an opportunity to get free vegetable, herb and flower seeds. We ask the gardeners to grow the plants, then save some seeds to return, just like you return library books, so others can plant them next season. 

The Verde Thumbs Gardeners meeting- meets the 3rd Saturday at the Cottonwood City Library, 10 am - noon.  Discussion on vegetable gardening in the Verde Valley. For our May meeting, we will be discussing all the vegetables you can start in May as well as some insect control information. Second is ouBoth events are free and have lots of informational handouts all for gardening in our area.
