The Play: People are dying to live in Greenfield.

A young doctor returns to his New England home town after a long absence and discovers a

serial killer has been at work in the Vermont village of Greenfield Center, where there is a

genial, benevolent and greatly loved old physician, who is very proud of his community. It

is peopled with fine, wholesome folk. The two doctors, young and old, are pitted against

each other in the final scene of unforgettable suspense and high drama.

Dr. Cook’s Garden follows the tradition of other Ira Levin works, such noteworthy dramas as

Deathtrap, The Stepford Wives & Rosemary’s Baby.
