Please join National Park Service and Rock Creek Conservancy for a socially-distant outdoor invasive removal event. We will be removing invasive plants from one of our mini-oases, Reservation 630 West (the mini-oasis formerly known as Melvin Hazen)!
Invasive species are among the biggest threats to this urban park. We invite you to join us outside to help remove invasive plant species and keep this section of Rock Creek healthy.
Unvaccinated volunteers must wear a mask for the duration of the event. Please follow all CDC and city guidelines regarding social distancing and public health precautions.

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Volunteers will meet at the Reservation 630 trailhead, near the intersection of Reno Rd NW & Tilden St NW.
Please register! Volunteers may only participate if they have registered. The event leader will not accept "walk-ups" or last minute additions due to health and safety reasons.
What to Wear: Please dress appropriately for the work and weather. Wear long socks, pants and sleeves, as well as sturdy boots or sneakers.
What to Bring: Please bring your own gloves if you have them. Bring snacks and plenty of water! Trash bags and tools will be provided.
