with Pria Ghosh
Pria works to promote Indigenous and community-led wildlife conservation around the world in her role as Programme Officer for an environmental NGO, Synchronicity Earth. Previously, she was a researcher studying the distribution of a fungal infection in amphibians that has caused up to 200 species extinctions, in southern Africa and Madagascar, and designed qPCR tests to diagnose emerging fungal diseases in wildlife populations. She is especially interested in how community and ecosystem health can be improved together, and in promoting decolonisation and ethical grant-giving in the environmental sector.
