Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with Free Museum Admission
By The Durham Museum

The museum will be open with free admission to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which is also a national day of service. Visitors will be able to learn about their community through
our exhibitions, participate in a community art project at The Platform and view our temporary exhibition about Billie Holiday, whose 1939 recording of the song "Strange Fruit" is considered by scholars one of the first protest songs of the Civil Rights Movement.
